Sania Mirza and South Africa's Liezel Huber shocked second seeds Virginia Ruano Pascual of Spain and American Meghann Shaughnessy to storm into the doubles final in the US $600,000 Bausch and Lomb Championships on the WTA Tour in Florida.
The unseeded Indo-South African combination defeated Pascual and Shaughnessy 6-4, 6-4 in the semi-finals of the hardcourt event at Amelia Island on Saturday.
In the final, Sania and Liezel will play Shinobu Asagoe of Japan and Slovenian Katarina Srebotnik, who earned a berth after Kveta Peschke of the Czech Republic and Italy's Francesca Schiavone retired with the scoreĀ 6-7 (2), 6-4.
