Sania Mirza continued her doubles' roll as she entered the semi-finals of the USD 600,000 Bausch and Lomb Championships in Florida, on Thursday.
The 19-year-old Indian, partnering Liezel Huber of South Africa, beat the experienced Aussie pair Nicole Pratt and Bryanne Stewart 6-2, 6-3 in the quarter-finals of the hard court event at Amelia Island.
In the other quarter-final match played yesterday, Italy's Francesca Schiavone and Czech Republic's Kveta Peschke registered an easy 6-4, 6-4 victory over the French duo of Nathalie Dechy and Marion Bartoli.
In the singles event, Sania was knocked out in the first round as she went down 3-6, 4-6 to American Lisa Raymond.
