Japan's Miki Miyamura will take on Nudnida Luangnam of Thailand in the final of the US $10,000 ITF women's tennis championship in Chennai on Saturday.
Miyamura, ranked 867 in the world, quelled the challenge of Korea's Jeong A Cho, winning 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 in the semi-finals on Friday.
In the other semi-finals, Nudnida Luangnam had little difficulty in ousting Natasha Khan of England, winning 6-3, 6-0.
The second seeded Korean pair of Jeong-A Cho and Ji-Young Kim bagged the doubles title, defeating the top seeds Nudnida Luangnam and Thassha Vitayaviroj of Thailand 6-4, 6-4 in the final.
