Arjun Atwal knocked in five birdies and an eagle to bring home a card of two-under 69 and ensure himself weekend play as he moved to tied 41st and made the cut in the US $5.5 million Deutsche Bank Championship on the US PGA Tour.
Atwal was three-under 139 after two days.
Starting on the tenth, the Indian had birdies on tenth, 16th, 17th and then an eagle on 18th. On the front nine, he birdied sixth and seventh. His bogeys came on 13th, 14th, second, fifth and ninth. With some good putting, he has a chance of ending in the top-20.
Olin Browne hardly missed a shot in the second round on his way to five consecutive birdies and a 6-under 65 that gave him a share of the lead with Jeff Brehaut. They were at nine-under 133.
Tiger Woods had a good day after his first round flawless 65 that gave him the first-round lead. He was constantly scrambling for par and wound up with a 2-over 73 that left him five shots behind.
