Sporting Clube de Goa made the best of defensive lapses to score a resounding 4-1 victory over Fransa Pax and enter the semi-finals of the 27th Federation Cup football tournament, at the Nehru stadium in Margao, Goa, on Monday.
Sporting, who led 2-0 at half-time, scored through Edeh Chidi (28th minute), Dudu Omagbemi (40th, 48th) and Nicholas Rodrigues (58th).
Fransa Pax scored a consolation goal in the 65th minute through Peter Rodriuges.
Referee K Sankar showed yellow cards to Sporting's Hardeep Saini, Suresh David and Fransa's Creson Antao and Surojit Roy.
Dudu, who scored the brace of goals, was named man-of-the-match.
Sporting Clube meet the winners of the quarter-final between Salgaocar and Vasco.
