India has qualified for the fifth under-21 women's Junior World Cup hockey tournament to be held at Santiago, Chile, in September.
The qualifiers' list was declared by the International Hockey Federation and conveyed to India, the Indian Women's Hockey Federation said in Delhi on Wednesday.
The first coaching camp for the September 14 to 25 event would be held in the national capital from next month with about 37 players.
"After 10 days the number of players will be pruned," the IWHF said.
The federation also announced that Uttar Pradesh, organisers of the All India Invitational women's hockey tournament for the past 18 years, has decided to increase the prize-money for the tournament.
The winners will now get a purse of Rs 100,000 and the runners-up Rs 50,000.
