Indian ace Mahesh Bhupathi and Todd Woodbridge of Australia advanced to the second round of the men's doubles at Wimbledon on Wednesday.
The sixth seeds got the better of Graydon Oliver and Jared Palmer of the United States 6-4, 6-2, 6-7(5/7), 6-3 in a first round match.
The Indo-Australian pair will take on Stephen Huss of Australia and Wesley Moodie of South Africa, who rallied to beat the French-Belgian duo of Cyril Saulnier and Tom Vanhoudt 6-7(6/7), 6-3, 6-2, 6-3, on Thursday.
Leander Paes and Nenad Zimonjic were tied at a set apiece against Luicas Arnold of Argentina and Daniele Bracciali of Italy on Wednesday. The scores were 7-6(2), 6-7(5) 0-0 when the match was called off for the day.
