Striker Suraj Mandal scored a brace as Bengal defeated Goa 2-0 in a Pool 'B' league match and qualified for the semi-finals in the 14th national under-21 football championship for the Dutta Roy trophy in Tiruchirappalli on Thursday.
Suraj Mandal scored in the 13th and 74th minutes.
With this victory, Bengal topped Group 'B' with seven points (two wins and a draw) and are followed by Karnataka (six points-two wins).
Tamil Nadu and Services have already made it to the last four from Pool 'A'.
In the semi-finals, Tamil Nadu will take on Karnataka on June 18 while Bengal will clash with Services on June 19.
The final will be held on June 21.
