Ronaldo, Thierry Henry, David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane are among more than 50 of the world's top players invited by FIFA for the "Football for Hope" benefit match to help victims of the Asian tsunami.
An XI captained by AC Milan's European Footballer of the Year Andriy Shevchenko will take on a Ronaldinho XI at the Brazilian's club ground in Barcelona on Febrary 15.
Shevchenko is set for an impressive range of midfielders playing behind the Ukraine striker after FIFA revealed an invitation list on Tuesday including Zidane, Beckham, Patrick Vieira, Steven Gerrard and Pavel Nedved.
Help up front is set to come from Henry, Raul, Alessandro Del Piero, Roberto Baggio and Francesco Totti.
Ronaldinho could be partnered by Ronaldo, Samuel Eto'o and Didier Drogba, supported by Kaka and Hidetoshi Nakata, with a defence including Cafu and Javier Zanetti.
All proceeds from the match will be donated to the FIFA/AFC Tsunami Solidarity Fund, which has been set up jointly by FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
UEFA has pledged one million dollars to the solidarity fund and the same amount to the Red Cross.
