President of Fransa Pax Club Micky Pachecho on Tuesday threatened to pull his team out of the National Football League if 'bias' refereeing continued in their remaining matches.

Addressing a press conference after the interval, Pachecho alleged that the referees were targeting their team and favouring certain teams as in the case on Tuesday "where Shaji Kurian awarded a controversial penalty and showed yellow card to Fransa key member Louis Aniweta."

"If this sort of bias refereeing continues by the referees, football in India will be killed," he said.

"Three penalties have been awarded so far against us to Dempo, Sporting Clube De Goa [Images] and today against Salgaocar which is a clear indication that referee are out to target a particular team.

"If this sort of things continues, I am afraid I will have to pull out our team from the NFL," Pachecho said.
