Juventus [ Images ] striker David Trezeguet will miss next week's Champions League [ Images ] clash with Real Madrid [ Images ] after being sidelined by flu, the Italian Serie A club said on Sunday.
The French international, who missed Saturday's 0-0 draw with Messina, was left out of Juventus's 20-man squad for the match.
In his absence, Alessandro Del Piero is expected to come in alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic [ Images ] in attack.
Better news for Juventus supporters, however, was the inclusion of former European Footballer of the Year Pavel Nedved, who has not played a competitive match since injuring his knee in a Serie A game against Brescia on January 23.
Earlier in the week, Juve coach Fabio Capello [ Images ] said he hoped Nedved would be fit to play a part, if not the full 90 minutes, in Tuesday's match against Real.
