Tayshaun Prince scored 25 points as the Detroit Pistons crushed the Los Angeles Lakers 103-81 Thursday in a rematch of last year's NBA finals.

Meeting for the first time since the Pistons upset the favored Lakers in five games last June, Detroit stormed into an 18-2 lead at Auburn Hills, Michigan and never trailed on the way to its sixth win in seven outings.

Rasheed Wallace added 23 points and 15 rebounds to the Detroit effort while Ben Wallace had seven points and 15 boards.

The Lakers were again without Kobe Bryant, who missed his 13th game with an injured right ankle.

Lamar Odom continued to carry the load in Bryant's absense, scoring 17 points and nine rebounds as the Lakers slipped to 1-4 under interim coach Frank Hamblen, who took over from Rudy Tomjanovich when he stepped down for health reasons.

In Orlando, Steve Francis notched 28 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter, and Hedo Turkoglu 24 to power the Magic to a 101-96 victory over the Atlanta Hawks which snapped a three-game losing skid.

Grant Hill contributed 16 points to the Magic cause while Dwight Howard added 15 points and a season-high 20 rebounds.

Tony Delk and Antoine Walker each had 25 points for the Hawks while rookie Josh Childress registered his second straight double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Atlanta, though, lost for the fourth time in five games.

In Seattle, Ray Allen returned after missing two games with flu and poured in 34 points as the SuperSonics beat the Sacramento Kings 115-107 to stretch their unbeaten run to four games.

Rashard Lewis had 23 points and Antonio Daniels 18 for the SuperSonics.

Peja Stojakovic scored 28 points for the Kings, who have now lost three in a row.
