Jaspal Rana lived up to his reputation claiming gold in the Men's 25m Centre Fire Pistol event of the 49th National Shooting Championship being held at the Central University Shooting Range in Hyderabad on Friday.
Rana of ONGC logged 291 and 283 to aggregate 584 and win the yellow metal leaving behind Ashok Pandit and Ronak Pandit of Maharashtra in the individual event.
In the team event, Army continued its forward march winning gold with 1730 points followed by Maharashtra 1726 and Indian Navy 1707.
The juniors' event was won by Ronak Pandit of Maharashtra ahead of Vijay Kumar (Army) and Gurung Kanchan (Army).
