They will next play fourth seeds Wayne Arthurs and Paul Hanley [ Images ] of Australia [ Images ], who beat Mahesh Bhupathi [ Images ] and Fernando Gonzalez [ Images ] of Chile 6-7, 6-3, 6-3 in another last eight stage match.

In the other quarter-finals, the French duo of Michael Llodra and Fabrice Santoro [ Images ] upset top seeds Mark Knowles [ Images ] of Bahamas and Daniel Nestor [ Images ] of Canada [ Images ] 7-6(4), 1-6, 6-4.

They will take on Americans Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan [ Images ], who defeated Mario Ancic and Ivan Ljubicic 6-2, 6-1, for a place in the final.
