Russia's Igor Andreev won the first ATP title of his career when he defeated Spain's David Ferrer in the final of the Valencia Open 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 on Sunday.
The 21-year-old, who lives in Valencia, reached finals in Bucharest and Gstaad last year but lost on both occasions.
This time he fought his way back from a set down against the in-form Ferrer, who appeared to pay the price for having to play both his quarter and semi-final matches on Saturday.
Ferrer began to tire in the second set and was no match for Andreev in the third, with the young Russian breaking serve three times on his way to his first title.
