Lleyton Hewitt reached the quarter-finals of the U.S. Open on Tuesday with a 6-4, 6-2, 6-2 victory over unseeded Slovak Karol Beck.
The Australian, who won the 2001 title at Flushing Meadows, was pushed in the first set but broke serve in the ninth game to take charge.
The fourth seed strolled through the second set and maintained his domination in the third to maintain his flawless progress through the draw.
Hewitt, who is yet to lose a set, will play Germany's Tommy Haas or Czech Tomas Berdych, who face each other later on Tuesday, in the last eight.
