Second seed India's Karan Rastogi lost in the quarter-finals of the Canadian Open junior tennis championships to ninth seed Yi Chu-Huan of Chinese Taipei at the Club de Tennis de Repentigny, in Quebec.
The Indian wasted a good start before crashing out of the competition with a 7-6 (7-5), 4-6, 3-6 defeat on Saturday.
The Chinese Taipei player, however, lost his semi-final match to unseeded Alexandr Dolgopolov of Ukraine 4-6, 7-5, 2-6.
In the final, Dolgopolov will take on eighth seed Rafael Arevalo Gonzalez of Spain, who upset fifth seed Viktor Troicki of Serbia and Montenegro 7-6 (9-7), 6-1 in the second semi-final.
