Brazil striker Ronaldinho will miss Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against Argentina because of a thigh strain, team doctor Jose Luis Runco said Monday.
Central defender Luisao has also been ruled out of the match in Belo Horizonte with a similar injury, he added.
"Both Luisao and Ronaldinho are in a complicated situation," Runco told a media conference at the team's training camp. "The pain is strong and there's not enough time for them to recover by Wednesday.
Runco said Barcelona striker Ronaldinho left Sunday afternoon's practice match early complaining of pains in his left thigh. Benfica defender Luisao's problem is in his right thigh.
