India's Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi of Belarus survived a scare before winning their second round match against Slovakia's Karol Kucera and Australia's Todd Perry at the French Open on Friday.
The Indo-Belarussian pair lost the first set but held their nerve in a tough contest to come out victorious 4-6, 7-6 (7/2), 6-4.
The game was in sharp contrast to their first round encounter against Frenchmen Sebastien De Chaunac and Stephane Robert, which they won in straight sets.
The third seeds will face the winners of the Julian Knowle/Nenad Zimonjic - Mario Ancic/Ivan Ljubicic match in the next round.
