Mahesh Bhupathi moved into the third round of the men's doubles at Wimbledon on Sunday even as his former partner Leander Paes crashed out of the championships.
Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi of Belarus scored a 7-5, 6-3 victory over the Dutch pair of Raemon Sluiter and Martin Verkerk.
Paes and partner David Rikl lost their second round match to Travis Parrott and Vincent Spadea of the United StatesĀ 6-7(6-8), 3-6.
In the junior event, Russian Evgeniya Rodiva beat India's Tara Iyer 6-1, 6-3 in the girls' singles first round.
