Italy's [ Images ] Juventus [ Images ] signed Brazilian midfielder Emerson from Serie A rivals AS Roma for 28 million euros ($33.75 million), the Turin club said in a statement on Saturday.
The 28-year-old Emerson, who has agreed a four-year contract, joins up with former Roma coach Fabio Capello [ Images ] at the Delle Alpi stadium. The former Bayer Leverkusen [ Images ] player has won 55 international caps.
Juventus midfielder Matteo Brighi, 23, moved to Roma for 16 million euros as part of the deal.
