The Mercedes-Benz Cup final will be an all-German affair after Tommy Haas and Nicolas Kiefer won through their semi-finals in Los Angeles.
Former world number two Haas, chasing his second title of the season after winning on clay in Houston in April, overcame Frenchman Cyril Saulnier 7-5, 7-5.
Kiefer, who has not won a singles title for four years, defeated American wildcard Jeff Morrison 3-6, 6-2, 6-4.
Kiefer leads Haas 2-1 in head-to-head meetings. They last met at Wimbledon in 2000 when Haas won in four sets.
