India crashed out of the LG Cup football tournament, going down 0-4 to Korea University selection in the first semi-final in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on Thursday.
The Baichung Bhutia-led squad, which had won the tournament two years ago, failed to put up much of a fight during the one-sided match at the Thong Nhat stadium as the Koreans moved into the title round where they will take on hosts Vietnam on Saturday.
India's defeat comes on the heels of the 1-2 loss against Vietnam in the group league on Tuesday in what has been a highly forgettable campaign for the side, coached by Anglo-Cypriot Stephen Constantine.
The only silver lining for India came in the opening league match when they got past a weak Mayanmar side 2-1 to book a berth in the last four.
In the day's other semi-final, Vietnam outclassed Ho Chi Minh City XI 5-0.
Both India and Ho Chi Minh City teams were awarded bronze medals.
