Eight-time champions India have been drawn in Pool B for the men's hockey tournament at the XXVIII Olympic Games, to be held in Athens this August.
Other teams in the pool, announced by the International Hockey Federation on Wednesday, include Argentina, Australia, defending Olympic champions The Netherlands, New Zealand and South Africa.
India qualified for the Olympics by virtue of a fourth place finish in the Olympic qualifier in Madrid last month.
South Africa's inclusion in the tournament is subject to the outcome of a case in the Court of Arbitration of Sport, which will hear an appeal by the Hellenic Hockey Federation in relation to its participation in the Games, in Lausanne on May 19, 2004.
