Yet another strike from ace Indian forward Baichung Bhutia helped Perak FC edge out Serawak 4-3 on aggregate in the Malaysia Cup football tournament on Saturday night.
Serawak scored a 3-2 victory over Perak in the return leg of the quarter-finals at the Serawak Stadium, but a 2-0 win in the first leg proved a good cushion for the latter to sail into the semi-finals.
Sarawak's goals came from from Wong Sai Kong (9th and 36th minutes) and Sapian Wahed in the 61st minute.
Perak replied through Bhutia in the 80th minute and Frank Seator in the 90th.
Perak will take on Sabah, who defeated Kedah 3-1 in the second leg and 4-1 on aggregate, while in the other semi-final Selangor MPPJ will play Perlis.
