India's Karan Rastogi staged a superb rally to book a place in the semi-finals of the Osaka Mayor's Cup tennis tournament in Japan on Friday.
The 17-year-old beat Woong Sun Jun of South Korea 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 in the quarter-fnals.
The fourth seed Indian, who thus becomes the only player after Leander Paes to make it to the last four in a Grade 'A' event, will now face Australian Open junior champion Marcos Bhagdatis of Cyprus.
Bhagdadtis participated in the ATP Indian Challenger in Tumkur last week and lost in the semi-finals.
In the doubles event, the second seeded Indian pair of Divij Sharan and Arun Prakash defeated Weerapat Doakmaiklee and Kirati Siributwong of Thailand 6-4, 6-3 to reach the final.
