Arsenal [ Images ] defender Sol Campbell will face a Football Association (FA) disciplinary hearing on Wednesday, the day before he is expected to fly out for England's [ Images ] crunch Euro 2004 qualifier in Turkey.
Campbell has denied an FA charge of violent conduct after he kicked out at Manchester United's [ Images ] Eric Djemba-Djemba following a fierce tackle by the Cameroon midfielder in the Community Shield on August 10.
If found guilty, Campbell faces a three-match ban for the offence.
The FA announced the date of the hearing on Monday, shortly before England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson was expected to name Campbell in his squad for Saturday's game in Istanbul.
Eriksson's Group Seven leaders, who will fly out on Thursday, need a draw to qualify automatically for next year's championship in Portugal.
