Sania Mirza was the only Indian to make it to the second round of the ITF Grade 1 junior tennis event at Roehampton, London, on Monday.
Sania defeated her 25th ranked opponent, Agnes Szavay of Hungary 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.
In the second round, the top Indian junior will clash against the winner of the match between Moe Kawatako of Japan and wild card Katie O'Brien of Britain.
In the boys' section, Somdev Varman, ranked 57, lost 4-6, 2-6 against wild card Kasiri Miles of Britain.
The two Indians had their first round matches postponed due to rain on Monday.
The event is a tune-up for the Wimbledon junior championships beginning on June 29.
