The Indo-Russian pair of Mahesh Bhupathi [ Images ] and Elena Likhovtseva stormed into the mixed doubles semi-finals of French Open [ Images ] on Wednesday.

They defeated the American-Swedish pair of Corina Morariu and Jonas Bjorkman [ Images ] 6-4, 6-3 in straight sets.

On Wednesday, Bhupathi and his partner from Belarus, Max Mirnyi [ Images ], were defeated in doubles quarterfinals 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 by Leander Paes [ Images ] and David Rikl of the Czech Republic.
