National champion and current championship leader V R Naren Kumar and co-driver D Ramkumar of Team MRF won the overall championship in the Kerala Rally 2003, the third round of the MAI Indian rally championship for cars, with a penalty time of 1.23:16 seconds.
Team MRF's Karandip Singh-Jaidas Menon took the second place with 1.25:32 secs and the seasoned Leelakrishnan and Farooq Ahmed combine the third slot with 1.26:54 secs.
In the 1600 cc category Naren Kumar took the honour while Karandip bagged the second and Leelakrishnan the third place.
In the 1400 cc category, R Karthikeyan-G Sathis won the honour with 1.35:04 secs, followed by George Antony-Bijoy Paul 1.38:01 secs and Renjith Paul-Anoop Xavier with 1.45:43 secs penalty time finished in that order.
In the MAI Rally Star Cup category, Arjun Rao-C K Chinnappa with a penalty time of 1.33:59 secs emerged first, followed by Thirtha Patil-Lohith Anand with 1.36:56 secs and KRanjith k Ballal-Shanmuga with 1.38:33 ended in that order.
