Warming up for the Asian PGA circuit, Delhi pro Arjun Singh recorded his second straight win when he annexed the Hero Honda Open South, the fourth leg of the Hero Honda Indian Golf Tour, at the Karnataka Golf Association course in Bangalore on Friday.
The title comes after he had won the IGNF-KONE Open in Chennai last week.
The "Mr Consistent", who played a round of three-under 69 today, had a four-day total of 10-under par 278 and finished seven strokes ahead of second placed Gaurav Ghei and Digvijay Singh, finished third with an aggregate of 287
Mukesh Kumar was fourth with level par 288 while Vijay Kumar ended fifth.
The winner took home Rs 1.62 lakh, while Ghei was richer by Rs 1.12 lakh. Both now travel to Taiwan for the Mercury Masters, an event on the Asian PGA.
Gurunath Melyappan of Chennai emerged champion with a total of 313 amongst the amateurs while David D'Souza finished runner-up.
