President A P J Abdul Kalam sent his best wishes to former World billiards champion Wilson Jones, who is recovering from a heart attack in a Mumbai hospital, and contributed Rs 10,000 towards his medical expenses.
The cheque, flowers and a letter from the President wishing him a speedy recovery was delivered to Jones' wife through Raj Bhawan in Mumbai, sources said.
Jones, 80, who had coached leading cueists of the country including Ashok Shandilya and Devendra Joshi, was admitted to hospital in a serious condition following a heart attack.
