The Canadian Grand Prix

BMW Williams driver Juan Pablo Montoya of Colombia leads at the start of the Canadian Formula One Grand Prix, held at the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit, in Montreal, Canada.

The race was won by reigning world champion Michael Schumacher. It was his sixth victory in eight races this year. McLaren's David Coulthard of Britain, who won the last race in Monaco, came second and Schumacher's teammate Rubens Barrichello of Brazil was third.
