Bangalore outfit Indian Telephone Industries and JCT Mills, Phagwara, played out a goalless draw in the Oil PSU-seventh National Football League in Bangalore on Saturday.
Though both teams went all out in a bid to register their first victory in the league, they ran out of ideas in the box and were just unable to get the ball into the goal.
Both teams have two points from five outings.
Towards the end of the first-half, Hardip Gill had a good chance to score for JCT but his shot was off the mark.
Soon after the breather, Hardeep Saini came up with a superb effort but the ball hit the upright and went out, much to the disappointment of the millmen, who had won the title in the inaugural year of the league in 1996-97.
ITI too came by a good chance to clinch the issue, but they were unlucky when Najeeb's shot hit the bar and the ball
went out in the 71st minute.
