Jaspal Rana bags fourth gold

Jaspal Rana picked his fourth gold medal in shooting when he claimed the honours in the men's 25m centre fire pistol event in the 17th Commonwealth Games in Manchesteron Saturday.

Bruce Quick of Australia claimed the silver and Irshad Ali the bronze.

Rana's gold-winning effort has taken India's shooting tally to 12 gold, seven silver and two bronze medals.

India's Mahaveer Singh, the other participant in the event had a dismal showing and finished 12th.
