Jaspal Rana adds to Indian tally

Indian Jaspal Rana claimed the men's 25m standard pistol honours at the Commonwealth Games, with South Africa's Frederick van Tonder winning a shoot-out to gain silver ahead of England's Mick Gault.

The ace marksman won the event with 567 points.

The Indian shooting team has excelled beyond expectations, winning ----- 12 gold, 7 silver, 3 bronze. Rana has bagged three gold, a silver and a bronze while Anjali Bhagwat has claimed four gold and Abhinav Bindra has won a gold and silver.
