The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha on Wednesday said they had no differences with the United Progressive Alliance and would contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls in alliance with UPA and its allies in Jharkhand.
JMM MP from Giridih, Teklal Mahto, said, "We had contested the last election together and won 13 of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state. JMM would contest the forthcoming election with the UPA."
Referring to the attitude of Congress since JMM chief Shibu Soren lost the Tamar by-election, Mahto said they were in constant touch with the Congress party in-charge in the state.
Appreciating Soren's short tenure, he said the JMM chief had proved his mettle during his short tenure as chief minister, addressing all section of the society.
Earlier, angry over the attitude of the Congress since Soren's defeat in the by-election, JMM leaders had said that the party was set to contest the Lok Sabha polls alone if the Congress failed to respond positively.
