The special investigation group in Pakistan constituted by adviser on interior Rehman Malik has made a lot of headway on the dossier provided by India relating to the Mumbai terror attacks, the Pakistan Tribune reported.
The paper also said Pakistan's law ministry is studying Pakistan's anti-terror laws and finding ways and means to amend them so that they can be made applicable to those arrested and detained in connection with the attacks.
The Tribune quoted an official in the interior ministry as saying, "The outcome of the inquiry will be shared with the government of India through diplomatic channels as and when we receive it from the interior ministry."
Sources in Pakistan's foreign office told the paper that nothing has come to them from the interior ministry as yet and once it does, they will hand it over to the Indian high commissioner in Islamabad as well as through its high commission in New Delhi to South Block.
