Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has invited Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to visit Pakistan, while the latter renewed his invitation to the former to visit India during their meeting in New York.
Briefing reporters, Foreign Secretary Shiv Shankar Menon said both leaders accepted each other's invitation, but dates have not been decided yet.
The two leaders, who met on Wednesday, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting decided on a series of confidence building measures, including commencing of cross-Line of Control trade in Jammu and Kashmir from October 21.
Dr Singh and Zardari also decided that a special meeting of the Joint Anti-Terror Mechanism will be held next month to address mutual concerns, including the bombing of the Indian Embassy in Kabul.
