A youth, who has allegedly sent an e-mail threatening the life of Congress president Sonia Gandhi [ Images ], is being questioned by Kerala [ Images ] police.

The mail was sent to Rashtrapathi Bhavan [ Images ] office about four days ago from an internet cafe at nearby Palarivattom in Kochi, police sources said.

The mail also stated that bombs would go off in Delhi [ Images ], Kochi and two other places, they said.

Initially the sources had said that the youth has sent a similar e-mail threat to President Pratibha Patil [ Images ] also, but later clarified that the mail only threatened the life of Sonia and was sent to the Rashtrapathi Bhavan office.
