"I am busy with preparations for the Dussehra festival. Let the Goddess punish the culprits," said Ignace Barwa, whose second daughter was allegedly raped during a mob attack at K Nuagauon of Kandhamal on August 25.

The 29-year-old nun had undergone training at an institute at Jharsuguda before she was sent to Kandhamal.
"Ours is the only Christian family in the village," Rezina said, adding that they participate in all Hindu festivals and have never faced any discrimination.
"It is very painful for a mother to know that her daughter has been raped. I pray to God that no mother on earth should face this fate of mine," she said.
