Seeking to dismiss the claims of All India [ Images ] Congress Committee General Secretary Margaret Alva, party leader Rahul Gandhi [ Images ] on Tuesday said that he was 'not unhappy' with the ticket distribution in the assembly elections.

"As general secretary of the Youth Congress, I just make some recommendations as far as younger boys are concerned, that's all. I am not unhappy with the ticket distribution," Gandhi told reporters.

Margaret Alva offers to resign from AICC

Gandhi, who is AICC general secretary in-charge of Youth Congress and National Students' Union of India, evaded a reply on whether Alva had committed breach of discipline by making allegations of sale of party tickets in the Karnataka [ Images ] assembly elections.

His statement assumes significance as it has come in the backdrop of reports that Rahul was unhappy with ticket distribution.
