Even as the special team of Uttar Pradesh's Anti Terrorist Squad on Friday returned from Jaipur after studying the serial blasts case, the recovery of a visiting card from an abandoned car near Jaipur railway station has again linked the blast to the state.
The eight-member team of the ATS returned to Lucknow on Friday after staying in Jaipur for two days to study and assist the Rajasthan police in breaking the case.
According to reports, a visiting card bearing the name Afzal with a Lucknow address was recovered on Thursday night from an abandoned Esteem car near the pink city's railway station.
When the police enquired with Lucknow authorities about the address, it was found that Afzal had given his neighbour's address in his visiting card. Afzal had stayed with his family for about one year in Hassanganj area and had left the area five months back.
On the backside of the visiting card was written "Jinda rahe to phir milenge."
Refusing to elaborate further, the police in Lucknow said the matter was still being investigated.
When mediapersons went to the house in Hassanganj where Afzal stayed, house owner Asif said he used to sell Kashmiri shawls in the nearby areas and lived along with the family. He had left the house five months back and they do not know anything about it.
