The two-day curfew imposed in 15 police stations' areas in the walled city in Jaipur, which was imposed in the aftermath of Tuesday's serial bomb blasts, was lifted on Thursday afternoon, police said.
As precautionary measure, curfew was imposed for two days from 9 am till 4 pm to prevent any untoward incidents, following eight synchronised powerful bomb explosions, which left 64 people dead and more than 200 injured.
However, the prohibitory orders under Section 144 will remain in force, police said. Curfew could be re-imposed if necessity arises after reviewing the situation, sources said.
