The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the multiple blasts in Jaipur that left at least 60 dead and 200 injured.

"The UAE strongly condemns the blasts in Jaipur and expresses full solidarity with the Government of India in its measures against terrorism," UAE Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahyan was quoted as saying by the official Emirates news agency.

He also conveyed his sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims and the Indian government in this hour of need.

Britain too strongly condemned terror attacks in Jaipur that killed at least 60 and injured nearly 200, saying the UK will continue to stand with the government and people of India against terrorism in all its manifestations.

"The bombings in Jaipur have shown again the horrific destruction which terrorism brings," British Foreign Secretary David Miliband said in a statement.

"My thoughts are with families of the victims and those injured. There can never be any justification for acts of indiscriminate violence such as these and I utterly condemn those who have perpetrated the attacks."

The United States strongly condemned the bomb attacks in Jaipur saying they were "intended to claim innocent lives".

"We're still collecting some information about this. But given the facts that we know now, quite clearly these bombs were intended to claim innocent life and it's something that we very clearly condemn," State Department Spokesman Sean McCormack said.

He said he had no information on whether US citizens were affected by the attacks.

"I can't offer you any more insight as to who might be responsible or who the victims were. I don't have any news reports of American  citizens being affected by this," he added.

When asked if the blasts were the handiwork of Al Qaeda, McCormack replied, "I don't know".

Israel has strongly condemned the serial blasts in Jaipur, describing it as a heinous act of terror which claimed so many innocent lives.

"Israel condemns in the strongest possible terms the heinous terrorist attack which claimed so many innocent lives in Jaipur," a spokesman of the Embassy of Israel said in New Delhi.

The terrorist act can never be justified under any circumstances and this is incumbent on the civilised international community to act in a concerted and unified manner to stamp out the scourge of terror, he said.

"Israel understands to the full the enormity of the tragedy. We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wish for the speedy recovery of those injured", he said.

Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani strongly condemned the bomb blasts at Jaipur.

"Pakistan condemns all acts of terrorism and reaffirms its firm commitment to fight this scourge together with the international community," Gilani said in a message.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi too condemned serial blasts.

Qureshi expressed his condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims.

Condemning the blasts, Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain said those involved in such attacks are "not human".

Through such activities, terrorists are trying to disturb the peace of the region, said a statement issued by the MQM.
