Amit Kumar, the alleged kingpin of the multi-crore kidney transplant racket, on Thursday denied the charges framed by the Central Bureau of Investigation against him.

"I have not removed the kidney of any person on gun point. The kidneys were transplanted with the mutual consent of the donors and the beneficiaries", he told reporters.

Asked whether some political leaders were also involved in the scam as alleged by another accused in the case Upender earlier, he said he was not aware of it.

He alleged that the CBI had falsely implicated him in the case and now it was freezing his bank account in Canada without any justification.

He was produced in the court of Special CBI Magistrate Abdul Majid along with the other 10 accused today.

The other accused produced in the court included K K Aggarwal, Upender, Surz, Linda, a nurse of Amit Kumar's clinic, Manoj, Harpal, Ramesh, Suresh and Umesh.

Jeevan, who is in police custody in Jaipur, was not present in the court. Pooja, Jeevan's wife, who was granted anticipatory bail for 30 days by this court, was also present in the court.

Asked whether she was aware of the fact that her husband was involved in the illegal kidney trade, she replied in the negative and said her husband had not committed any crime.
