The Anti-Terrorism Squad in Maharashtra on Tuesday arrested two more persons in connection with the Thane auditorium blast case earlier this month, taking the number of arrested to four.
Vikram Bhave and Santosh Angre were arrested in connection with the blast which injured seven people, a senior ATS officer said.
The low-intensity crude bomb which was placed in the Gadkari auditorium parking lot is suspected to have been assembled at Vikram's residence in Panvel, the officer added.
The ATS earlier arrested two members of the Hindu Jan-jagruti Samiti, a local Hindu right-wing organisation, Mangesh Nikam and Ramesh Gadkari. The two were later remanded in police custody till June 24.
Seven people were injured in a minor explosion that took place at the auditorium's parking lot, before the staging of the play "Amhi Pachpute".
The Samiti had earlier objected to the play, alleging that it parodies certain mythological characters and hurts Hindu sentiments.
