The Rajasthan government on Tuesday wrote a fresh letter to Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla asking him to send a delegation for further talks in Jaipur.

The letter comes in the wake of demands made by the Gujjar Arakshan Sangharsh Samiti for release of arrested men and women protesters stalling the dialogue process.

The government has sent a letter to Bainsla on Tuesday afternoon, a senior official said.

After deliberations by the Vasundhara Raje government based on the feedback provided by ministers L N Dave and S M Jat who attended yesterday's talks with a 37-member Gujjar delegation at Bayana, the state authorities have again requested Bainsla, in writing, to intimate about the availability of Gujjar delegation for parleys in Jaipur, the official said.

The state government has assured that all issues mentioned in Bainsla's letter, which was submitted to the two ministers, would be discussed to arrive at a mutually-acceptable solution, he added.

Meanwhile, Bainsla, who is holding a sit-in at Karwadi-Pilupura area in Bharatpur district demanding ST status for Gujjars, told reporters he would not go to Jaipur unless all arrested men and women in connection with agitation were released unconditionally.

Bainsla also demanded restoration of civic amenities, including water, power and mobile services in the Gujjar agitation-affected areas.

Bainsla said that police should also stop raids and unwanted arrests by lodging "false" criminal cases against Gujjars.

Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Raje held a high-level meeting which was also attended by BJP leader Gopinath Munde and state party president Om Prakash Mathur.
