Former Prime Minister V P Singh, who is suffering from kidney and heart problems, has been admitted to the intensive care unit of Bombay hospital.
Singh, 76, was admitted on Thursday and is undergoing treatment for kidney and heart ailments, Dean of the hospital Dr B K Goel said.
His condition is improving, Goyal said.
Singh, who usually undergoes dialysis either in Apollo Hospital in Delhi or Bombay Hospital in Mumbai, was undergoing treatment for an internal abdominal haemorrhage in a hospital in Hyderabad.
"Singh came here from Hyderabad to get himself treated for his heart and kidney ailments and he has been admitted to the ICU," Goyal said.
