"I will speak after a few days. I leave the matter to the people (to judge)," Lok Sabha Speaker Somanth Chatterjee has said, breaking his silence after his expulsion from the Communist Party of India Marxist, for refusing to quit his post after his party's withdrawal from the United Progressive Alliance government.
He said, "So many things have been said. Let me see for a few days more".
Chatterjee was speaking to reporters in Kolkata after visiting his ailing sister.
The Speaker had been eluding mediapersons ever since he reached Kolkata from Delhi and did not even take telephone calls from reporters.
